rain, plants and birthdays

I hate rain, not as much as I hate spiders, but close. I’m sitting on the sofa watching raindrops race each other down the window, wondering where the beautiful spring weather has gone. For the last two weeks I have  worked in the garden most days.  I put in twelve new plants in a new bed under the window and now the poor wee things are drowning and looking at me as if to say what the *%$” is going on?  And to make things worse I  have just heard on the news that it is to SNOW!!!  Oh well I suppose I shouldn’t  be surprised, it is Ireland after all.  We can and often do have all four seasons in one day.  Oh just a wee reminder – Steve’s BIG birthday is creeping ever closer. Oh boy am I in SO much trouble now!!!
